Starting June 2nd, FoCUS will be meeting in the Calvin Room at First Pres at 7pm. We will spend Wednesday nights in fellowship and bible study, going through a 10-week series on the Beatitudes in Matthew. ALL college students are welcome, whether you are a Cal student or just at home for the Summer. We will be doing a lot of fun activities and outings throughout the summer, so stay tuned!
Hope to see you this Summer!

You won’t want to miss our final community dinner of the semester! These dinners are awesome times of fellowship and great opportunities to bring friends along for some FREE FOOD! Dinner will take place at 6:30pm right after the 5:05 service in the Calvin Room. Hope to see you there!
The All Church Conference this year will take place at Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz mountains. And best of all, it is FREE for college students! College students spend a portion of the day working with the youth of First Pres, but have the rest of the day to explore the area, including great hikes, beaches, and the Boardwalk. It is a great time in a great place, so sign up before May 2nd if you plan on attending. If you are interested, e-mail Nick Van Santen at nickv@fpcberkeley.org.

Bring your friends, and lets party!!! The party will start at 7 PM in the Plaza of First Pres and will last till about 10 PM….. so you will have plenty of time for homework

It’s a new season in FoCUS. And I don’t just mean the Fall. Every year we have a chance to build this fellowship into something valuale and truly meaningful. With a lot of new folks in FoCUS, this is especially important this year. That’s what the Fall Retreat is about - if you want to find a truly supportive and purposeful community, you need to think about coming on this great weekend. Our speaker is Thomas Brown, a graduate of Fuller Seminary and an academic advisor at Cal. And we’ll have plenty of chances for fun and deep fellowship. It’s Halloween. It’s Redwood Camp in Santa Cruz. Click here to register.
